Ashlyn + Bobby's Wedding
Ashlyn and Bobby exchanged their vows surrounded by friends and family inside the rustic Lodge at Hillside on June 8, 2019.
The day started with the girls getting ready at Ashlyn’s parents’ house. Shortly after I arrived to start photographing their day, the florist showed up with the most gorgeous sunflower bouquets, and I was immediately in love! The rustic details, like the bridesmaids’ matching Justin boots and the groomsmen all wearing navy shirts and jeans, paired perfectly with their sunflower theme.
Ashlyn came down the stairs at her parents’ house looking like a princess in her wedding dress! As her mom put on her veil, everyone was filled with emotion. She looked stunning!
At the venue, Bobby and his groomsmen gathered awaiting the ceremony. Family and friends began to gather inside the Lodge at Hillside. Before Ashlyn walked down the isle, they rolled out a burlap isle runner that said, “Daddy, of all the walks we’ve taken, this one is my favorite. Love, your little girl.” I might have shed a tear of two as they walked down the isle. Ashlyn and Bobby exchanged their vows and rings, and together braided a cord of three strands — “A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Ecclesiastes 4:12 — symbolizing their marriage and relationship with God. Then, they shared their first kiss as husband and wife!
The rest of the evening was filled with dinner provided by The Chuck Wagon and dancing with DJ Showtime. In between the cake cutting and cake-smashing-in-the-face, the flower girl helped herself to a cupcake from the table! Guests celebrated into the night with Ashlyn + Bobby — the whole day was perfect!
