Sister Sister
I sat in Texas during finals week envisioning myself coming home to an abundance of peaceful, snow-covered, Pennsylvania scenery. I dreamed of wintry walks with my camera in hand and snow covered trees. Little did I know, the snow would only last two days into my time at home.
Thankfully, my sister Emily and I were able to find plenty of snow and pine trees right on the farm on one of the coldest days of the year. Emily shivered with the temperatures in the teens as I set up the tripod with my camera and ran back and forth to set the timer between photos. As with most things that are "do it yourself", our DIY photo shoot was a bit chaotic and messy, but so fun. We froze, we laughed, and I almost cried when I banged my knee off of the coffee table as I was running to the red velvet gob cake. But we pulled off the surprise and gifted the photos to our parents on Christmas morning.
I hope you had a Merry Christmas and enjoy the New Year!
XOXO, Julia
